"In December of 2007, we were blessed with our
first "Gorgeous Poodle" from Elizabeth Davis, a female black toy
named Zoe. She was our sixth poodle over many years and was by far
superior to anything we had experienced as poodle owners in the
past. Zoe is smart, playful, extremely affectionate and a delight
to everyone who knows her. We recently decided to bring a second
Gorgeous Poodle into our home, but were fearful that she
wouldn't be as perfect as Zoe. Elizabeth assured us we would have a
hard time figuring out which one we loved more. How right she
was. Gracie not only met, but exceeded our greatest expectations.
Elizabeth told us three years ago that she doesn't breed dogs - she
"raises babies in fur coats." Unless you are fortunate enough to own
one of her poodles, you cannot understand just how true that
statement is."

"There are no words to
express my gratitude to Elizabeth Davis and Gorgeous Poodles.
I have enjoyed the
results of her expert breeding and her compassionate and loving weaning
process. My beautiful and healthy little 'Tanya' reflects all the care
given to her before she became a member of my family.
I am available to give
personal testimonials to anyone who is contemplating receiving one of
her special 'fur babies'."

I met Elizabeth Davis eleven years ago after finding
her name in "Dog Fancy" magazine. We had had five poodles up to that
time and were looking for another one to go with our oldest surviving
dog.
Upon visiting Elizabeth I fell in love with two little sisters that she
showed me and, well, the rest is history. After seeing the pristine
environment in which her "babies" are raised and after talking with her
for no more than a few minutes, I was satisfied beyond a shadow of a
doubt that she was totally committed to raising poodles of the finest
quality.
Her dogs (if I dare to call them dogs) are beautifully socialized with
excellent temperaments/dispositions. They are very intelligent, very
affectionate, and they are easy to train. They are well proportioned,
have beautiful coats and large, dry, expressive eyes.
Our little girls were eleven years old last September, and in all those
years we have NEVER - NOT ONCE - had to go to the vet for anything other
than to keep their shots up to date. ELIZABETH DAVIS' POODLES ARE
HEALTHY, HEALTHY, HEALTHY, and you will never regret purchasing a poodle
from her.

I knew I wanted a
Poodle; of that there was no question. Having been raised with Poodles,
I was well familiar with their gentle nature, their intelligence, the
lack of shedding, and their amazing “humanness.” The problem was that
we already had three Poodles, all of whom were dealing with some serious
medical conditions and had collectively endured five knee surgeries and
two heart surgeries. My heart broke every time we faced another medical
challenge; I just couldn’t go through this again with another dog.
This time I did
some research before buying a Poodle. I consulted the American Kennel
Club and the Poodle Club of America to find out what questions I should
ask of breeders. I called well more than a dozen breeders all over the
country. Finding the right breeder was of paramount importance as I
screened primarily for health/genetic issues and personality traits.
The list dwindled down in a hurry. When I talked with Elizabeth Davis,
something clicked right away. She stood out as very knowledgeable,
extremely caring about her “fur babies,” and as cautious with me as I
was with her! I called every reference she provided me. Each one very
enthusiastically endorsed her. I made the decision, sent her my money,
and she shipped Amber to me that Saturday.
I was totally
impressed with the way Amber arrived. Mrs. Davis thoroughly screens the
airline she uses and the way they treat dogs. Amber arrived happy,
alert, and calm. She arrived in a brand new cage and posh bedding
wearing a puppy diaper, diaper covering, and a coat. I was so thrilled
that a week later I asked Mrs. Davis to ship another puppy. Cali
arrived in the same condition.
Our veterinarians
were so impressed with their impeccable health, their strong hearts, and
amazingly tight knees. I was most impressed with their sweet
personalities and strong desire to bond with our family. The “bonus”
was their amazingly beautiful and sweet appearance. They are gorgeous!
The name of Mrs. Davis’ website is so appropriate!
Fast forward five
years. Two of our older Poodles had died a few years ago, so I called
Mrs. Davis for two more dogs. I sent her deposits for a puppy and an
adult dog, almost two years old. I had never adopted an adult dog
before and was quite apprehensive. Mrs. Davis answered all my questions
and put my fears to rest. I decided to fly out to Los Angeles to meet
her and bring my new “babies” home with me. Mrs. Davis was amazing and
her home was immaculate! One of her references told me, “her home is so
clean you can eat off the floor.” He was right. I was also impressed
by the fact that I heard no barking the entire time I was there,
The flight home was
unremarkable. Both dogs checked out at the vet as remarkably as the
first two. Maggie is now almost a year and is so intelligent, eager to
please, and very easy to potty train. The adult dog, Lily, is doing
beautifully. She is extremely happy and we are inseparable. And the
first two we adopted six years ago are in perfect health. Our dogs get
along beautifully, curl up together, and truly love one another. I
couldn’t be happier with each of them and the love and joy they bring
into our home.

After months of
searching the Internet, I found Gorgeous Poodles. I called and spoke to
Elizabeth who "interviewed" me as a potential owner. Her concern over
who would raise her puppy was something that no other breeder
considered. How fortunate my family was to meet her standards. A few
weeks later, our precious Ginger arrived. We couldn't have been more
thrilled - beautiful, healthy, friendly, smart, playful...our family
embraced her wholeheartedly. When she was 6 months old, we knew she
needed a sister. We phoned Elizabeth and she sent us our adorable Zoe.
Nothing could have prepared us for the joy that 2 poodles have being
together. Everything changed! The dynamics and loving relationship
between them is priceless. Our dogs are healthy and happy. Their
temperaments are sweet and loving. Elizabeth, you are an expert at
providing our world with a magnificent poodle.

Belle was been such
a huge blessing to me and my family. I love her more than I have ever
loved an animal. She is truly part of the family, she is my baby girl.
She is loving and playful, the kids also enjoy her as well as Brian and
I. She is at my side all the time she sleeps in the bed and under the
covers right beside me, I lost my Mom last year and I thank God that I
had Belle as a companion when I was home alone. I just wanted to thank
you for giving me such a special Baby that means the world to me. She is
so well balanced and healthy - simply the best poodle ever .

The purpose of this
letter is to verify that I am the proud owner of two poodles, Cosley and
Bailey, whom I purchased from Mrs. Elizabeth M. Davis.
Cosley is a male apricot/red toy poodle and was purchased in December
2000 when he was 3 months old. His initial visit to our veterinarian at
Ina Road Animal Hospital in Tucson, AZ, was on December 23, 2000. This
was within the first 5 days after receiving him. Cosley was
enthusiastically met by the staff, and the Vet declared him to be “one
of the healthiest animals they had ever seen.” The vet commented that
the puppy’s health reflected the excellent care and careful breeding of
a well-qualified breeder. Cosley is now six years old, and has enjoyed
good health since that time, requiring only periodic visits to the vet
for immunizations and annual check-ups. He is well-behaved and
socialized, for which I also thank Mrs. Davis. Receiving Cosley into our
home as a pet family member was an easy transition for us because of
this and the fact that he was already house-broken.
Bailey was purchased on July 27, 2004 at age seven-months. He is a
beautiful, mahogany-red miniature poodle. On July 28, 2004 we took
Bailey to Cortaro Farms Pet Hospital in Tucson, AZ for his initial
check-up and get-acquainted visit. He passed with flying colors, and
like Cosley, Bailey was proclaimed to be an extremely healthy and
well-behaved puppy. Bailey is gentle and loving and well-adjusted. His
exuberant energy is reflected in his playfulness, and he is our constant
source of entertainment.
Both of our poodles from Mrs. Davis have added a dimension to our family
life that is unequalled. We have had many compliments on their beauty,
intelligence and temperament. Additionally, our pet groomer loves the
visits from Cosley and Bailey because they are so easy to work with.

I hope you don't think we are being a pain,
but my wife has been obsessing about the decision of getting another dog
and driving me crazy. I am a big supporter of it because I see how sad
Juliette is saddened whenever we leave. Evie who loves poodles specially
Juliette also wants another but she is so concerned if she will be able
to love another small dog as much as she loves Juliette.
One concern down and one to go. When it comes to dogs, naturally you set
the bar very high regarding quality, and when we got Juliette you
brought to my attention how beautiful her eyes were. She has never had a
problem, like many poodles do regarding the tear ducts plugging up,
which cause the eyes to drain and it leaves ugly reddish stains on their
fur under their eyes. This is a feature that we began to notice on most
poodles, including poodles from other breeders. It is a quality that we
really appreciate about Juliette and a quality we want to make sure we
get with our next poodle. We prefer one with no red eye stains as it
will be a natural compliment to you and both of your dogs for us to show
off to people.
I have to blame you a little, Juliette is so wonderful, maybe you set
the standard too high, but that is why we are coming back to you.
Thanks for your help and time.

I would like to introduce my newest friend,
Bijoux. Bijoux will be celebrating her second birthday next month. She
came to our home in Oregon on a dark, wintry evening in late October,
2009 at 6 months old. She made the journey from California via Alaska
Airlines arriving in good health and mood. Although she was a little
uncertain for the first couple of days, she acclimated very quickly to
become my dear companion. I believe that her age benefited her
adjustment and mine.
Bijoux is an apricot toy poodle, about 8 lbs. I had requested a pet that
would not be larger than 9-10 lbs. Her size is just perfect for me. She
is a friendly, gentle, and faithful friend. Bijoux is a quick learner;
although, I have not formally trained her. She knows my commands and
responses appropriately. She was and is well socialized with other
puppies and has a weekly puppy day-out with her cousins Coco and Mei-Ling
both being Shih-Tzus.
I have had other toy poodles and she is the sweetest pet I have had. If
the need should ever arrive, I will contact Elizabeth Davis as I am very
grateful for having Bijoux as part of our family.
